SING THESE MUSICS AND TRAIN

PROFESSOR WALMIR [BACK]

MUSIC ONE:

HOME, by Blake Shelton.

Another summer day
Has come and gone away
In Paris and Rome
But I wanna go home.

Humm, humm!

Maybe surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I (just) wanna go home
I miss you, you know

And I've been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you
Each one a line or two
"I'm fine baby, how are you?"
Well I would send them but I know that it's just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that

Another airplane
Another sunny place
I'm lucky I know
But I wanna go home
I've got to go home

Let me go home
I'm just too far
From where you are
I wanna come home

And I feel just like I'm living someone else's life
It's like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
And I know just why you could not
Come along with me
But this was not your dream
But you always believed in me

Another winter day has come
And gone away
And even Paris and Rome
And I wanna go home
Let me go home

And I'm surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel alone
Let me go home
I miss you, you know

Let me go home
I've had my run
Baby, I'm done
I gotta back home

Let me go home
It all will be alright
I'll be home tonight
I'm coming back hom

Next song for you practice:
MUSIC TWO.

Well you done, done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool done run out, I'll be giving it my bestest
And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love

Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
I like peaceful melody
It's your God-forsaken right to be loved, love, loved, love, love

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
My breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do, our name is our virtue

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate, our time is short
It can not wait, I'm yours
I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours

Please don't, please don't, please don't
There's no need to complicate
Cause our time is short
This oh this, this is out fate, I'm yours!

MUSIC THREE
Viva la Vida
Coldplay
Compositor: Chris Martin

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone

Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing

"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become

Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

Hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

OH,OH,OOOH,OH,OOH,OH

OH,OH,OOOH,OH,OOH,OH

Hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field.

Brasilia the Capital of Brazil

PROFESSOR WALMIR [BACK]

Brasília, The Capital of Brazil

Brasília is so different from many cities because it is a planned city. It is very tidy. There are no aerials. There is not much noise except for the traffic on the highways.

Brasília has very modern buildings, expensive hotels and very beautiful gardens. The different buildings are not in the same place. Hotels are all together in one part, but banks and schools are located in other parts.

Brasília has an international population too. Representatives of various countries live and work there.

Most people live in apartment buildings. All buildings have a lot of space around them.

Everything is very large in Brasília, so it is a bit impersonal.

Dear Meg

PROFESSOR WALMIR [BACK]

Dear Meg,

Hi. How are you?

I’m in “Recife” now. At the moment, I’m working for a big Company to get some experiences. I’m learning a lot. I’m studying English and Spanish. Spanish isn’t difficult. It is an easy language for Brazilians.

I’m living with two friends Paulo and Francisco. They’re studying languages, too. They are very nice. We’re living in a small apartment in a quite street.

We’re visiting interesting places. I’m enjoying my stay here.

Love,

Walmir.
